Boy & Girl Nursery Inspiration {let the fun begin!}

Hello friends!

Since revealing that we have a new bundle of joy coming in July, I have been a busy bee stalking nurseries on Pinterest (okay, I've been stalking nurseries way before that!).

But who can blame me? There's just so many stylish, vintage, modern, chic, rustic, colorful and fun nursery ideas out there to swoon over. And swooning I have.

Actually, I may be setting myself up for some serious decision making when we discover the gender (7 more weeks!!). As you will see from my BOY & GIRL NURSERY INSPIRATION, I'm all over the spectrum as far as colors, themes, patterns and textures go. I don't have a solid definite color scheme or theme for a girl or boy.

And our nursery will definitely NOT be gender neutral. I admire those too, but I personally love looking at a room and being able to tell if it's meant for a boy or girl. Just personal preference, I guess.

Right now, all we've done to the nursery is paint it a light gray (custom mixed), added crown molding and installed a white ceiling fan (because a ceiling fan in my neck of the woods in July is an absolute MUST). So we pretty much have a blank slate ready to decorate once we know the gender. Fun fun!

But for now, I'm just having a little fun being inspired by these beautiful and stylish nurseries.

So sit back, relax and enjoy these lovely rooms for tiny people with me...

Nursery Inspiration

I told you I was all over the place! I guess you can say I'm a girl who appreciates all styles, patterns and textures!

But it will be fun narrowing ideas down and incorporating bits and pieces of some of these rooms for our little one!

Which was your favorite boy and girl nursery? Or do you prefer neutral gender?

So fun to be planning a nursery!!! I think my favorite for a boy was the first pic with what looks like wood planks on the wall and my favorite for a girl was the one with the gold dots on the wall and the pretty pink furniture. Can't wait to see what you do!

These are all so cute! I completely agree with you... gender neutral is fine, cheaper, the rational option... but who can resist the sweetness of a little girls pink palace? Or the ruggedness of a little man's room? Our babies are only babies once, this is the room where we will make all of those delicious baby memories... I say make them count! Can't wait to see what you choose!

Congratulations! I love your inspiration rooms. My favorite is the wood paneled wall. Super cute.
