I realized that as many projects as I've done for various rooms of our house, I've never really done a HOME TOUR, other than the time I showed you our Living Room Progress.
How rude of me to never invite you lovely people inside my home. My apologies.
I really enjoy touring other blogger's homes (a little nosy?) so I decided to start one! If you look at my tabs on top you will notice "My Home", which is where you will find all the room tours I post on the blog.
And what better place to start than the first room you see entering our house: THE LIVING ROOM!
This living room has undergone a few changes since the last time you saw it here.
This is what it looked like last year:
Which was a HUGE improvement of it's previous state:
Thankfully, some decor changes, a gallery wall, new pillows and other additions have made this space feel more like home and made me fall in love with it even more!
So relax and enjoy the tour...and you don't even have to take your shoes off since you're not really here!
The entryway is teeny tiny but I still love it! My favorite parts are the mirror next to the window that reflects more light into the house, the fun Spring rug and the black table.
I have some fun Spring and Summer colored accents on the table because you know this girl loves a little color!!
THE LIVING ROOM
This is the view upon entering the house. We have a wide living room due to the fact that the dining room is supposed to be to the right. But by keeping our dining table in the kitchen we scored more space! We use the extra space for a reading nook and my office space.
The pillows have been a fun change. Actually they're just the old pillows in new pillow covers! You can see HOW TO MAKE NO SEW PILLOW COVERS here.
The blank wall finally got some Gallery Ledges up!
But my favorite wall is still my Spontaneous Gallery Wall!
Remember my Rope Candle Holders? They ended up on our T.V. stand..
I'm constantly changing the fireplace mantel. Right now it looks like this...
A fun lamp and my Spring Inspired Painted Coasters make this end table Spring/Summer ready!
And I'm still DIY'ing those Decorative/Storage Boxes as you can see.
The other end table has yet another Rope Hurricane Candle Holder, a nautical frame, and I have to have a scented candle! Below it are some rocks collected during our beach days in my DIY Apothecary Jar, some gold spray painted sea shells and more driftwood.
THE READING NOOKS/SITTING AREAS
This is where you will find either Lily reading her books or me browsing through blogs.
And it's obvious I love these Framed Antique Keys since I haven't dared change them!
I'm still not loving this other sitting area and wall art but just to keep it real, here ya go!
I have some new supplies and projects up my sleeves so there will be some fun additions and changes coming soon!
What room tour should I do next? Lily's room? Kitchen? Guest bath? Suggestions are welcome!
Do you guys stalk blogger's homes as much as I do?
Thanks for stopping by!
