Burlap & Ribbon Table Runner

Hello friends!

Today I'm going to show you such an easy and inexpensive way to make a new table runner for your kitchen table!

This DIY Burlap & Ribbon Table Runner goes perfectly with our Faux Wood Tile Flooring we just put in the kitchen a couple weeks ago and our Industrial Style Curtain Rod that we of course also DIY'd!

And I'm praying to God you guys aren't tired with my "kitchen" theme this blog has been on the last few posts!

For this burlap runner I used more of the awesome burlap that Burlap Fabric sent me a while back.

The only thing I had used this burlap for was my Burlap Special Date Keepsake and a sign for my front door so I have PLENTY of it left!!!

Beside the burlap, I used a double stripe ribbon I found in Hobby Lobby for a couple bucks.

I simply used my hot glue gun to glue the ribbon to the edges of the burlap and I ended up with the perfect farmhouse style table runner!

I also happen to love that crease right smack in the middle of it!

I'm in love with the texture burlap lends to any room!

Do you like burlap? How do you use it around the home?

I love all your "kitchen" posts...keep them coming! I'm a big fan of burlap too. I've been thinking of making a burlap runner for a long time. I like how you just hot glued the ribbon on. I can't sew AT ALL, so I like the hot glue idea. :) Yours turned out great and I love the ribbon you chose!! Pretty table too! :)
