Burlap Special Date Keepsake Art

I was provided the burlap for this project by Burlap Fabric, but was not compensated for this post. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.

You all know I'm a sucker for DIY art that means something!

I just love looking at things around my house that remind me of a special moment; they just put a smile on my face every time I see them!

So when Burlap Fabric sent me a huge roll of burlap (thanks guys!), I knew I had to make another meaningful art piece that I would love for time to come.

Enter this Burlap Special Date Keepsake Art!

It's so simple, yet pretty! I just LOVE the way this little guy turned out!

I think it was the burlap that just made it so "wow-ish" for me. I've always loved the look and texture burlap lends! And I know most of you would agree, right?

I still love the look they bring to my Framed Antique Keys!

As always this was easy AND quick to make! You all know me by now!

You will need some burlap, a frame, a sharpie and a pair of scissors.

I just cut a piece of burlap to fit my 4 X 6 picture frame and free handed my daughter's birth date.

I knew I would fail at fancy handwriting so simple and crisp it was!

Easy peasy, guys.

But so very meaningful! At least to me!

And there's the little cutie that was born on this special day!

My daughter's birth date was the first special date that came to me, but of course there are so many others you could do: wedding date, date you met your spouse, or any particular date that means something to you and your family!

And with so many sharpie colors available, you can add a pop of color too!

Thanks for stopping by!

It looks great! And easy too :) I'm in love with burlap. I just made my first burlap wreath and it was so much easier than I thought!
