Hi There! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Well guys, it's finally done!
The office space I mentioned in my 2014 project goals and showed you in my Office Space Phase 1 & Inspiration, is up and running!
And I am one happy gal.
Not only is it more fabulous than I had imagined, but I also came in $28 under budget!
Budgetnista in the house!
Let's take her in one more time and then we'll talk numbers.
So how did I manage to only spend $72 on this office space? Well, I knew I only had a small space to work with as opposed to a whole office room, so I had to stay focused on my priorities.
I wanted 2 things: storage space in the form of shelves since they don't take up floor space and a memo board area underneath my shelves to keep important reminders and such in front of me. See, I"m not that high maintenance.
Here is the cost breakdown in a fun illustrated version:
Obviously most of the money went into the shelves and I spent more on those than I would have liked BUT we had to get everything...wood, brackets, stain and sealer.
On the upside, I now have leftover wood, stain and sealer!
The brackets were $5 a pop but I really wanted a touch of industrial to the rustic shelves. I'm glad I went with those instead of the standard ones in the shelves isle.
Another reason, this office space was very inexpensive, is I used things I already had or made things with stuff I already had around the house.
I think they call that being resourceful. But you be the judge.
Here are all my office space freebies:
The desk was my old vanity and I had already did something fun with the mirror and reupholstered the stool for use in the living room.
You can read about the chair here (it was actually my very first post)!
I found some great deals when shopping for this office space, like this $4 bin I found at Target!
I keep my laptop, nook and camera charger in this pretty bin so they're not all crammed in my teeny tiny desk drawer (my office desk drawer organization will be another post).
I got the tiny mail sorter at Walmart and painted it white (it was black) and failed to take a close up picture of it. My apologies.
I dolled up this $1 Target tray with a gold sharpie pen last year after seeing Jenna's from Rain On A Tin Roof.
Yes I totally copied her. No, I have no shame in admitting it. When I see awesome, I go for it.
Another Target steal...$7.
Yeah, they should have just given it to me.
I love things that have good memories behind them, don't you?
Well folks, that's a wrap!
I am happy to say I not longer blog from my bed in my PJ's...well sometimes I am in my PJ's
but that's one of the benefits of blogging!
Please do tell me I'm not the only one?
Thanks so much for stopping by!
