Organizing Made Simple: Manuals

Okay, so I don't normally post on Thursdays but this was such an easy organizing project for me I thought I'd quickly share it with you all. Aren't I nice? I think so :)

First, let me ask you a question: Where is your refrigerator manual? Your stove manual? How about your washer and dryer manual? If you don't know the answer to these questions, don't feel bad, neither did I!

My solution to "organizing" manuals was to just put them in the kitchen "random" drawer, on top of the fridge, in my desk drawer, in the hallway closet or in the small cabinets on top of our fridge. Yeah, this system was definitely not working for me. Especially when our fridge decided not to work and I was frantically running around the house trying to find it's manual at midnight! And even though our fridge was back to normal in less than 24 hours, I told myself I needed to get my stuff together. I dislike the feeling of not knowing where my things are! BIG PET PEEVE!

So that little story is what brought me to this:

Here are all our manuals that I collected from their different random homes.

And this is the super stylish filing folder (that will be the new home to all our manuals) I picked up at the dollar section at Target, or as I like to call it, Tarjay :)

The folder even comes with its own labels!

Now every manual has its own little slot! And this little beauty will rest in my desk drawer, where I will always know it's there. Just the way I like it.

I hope you found this useful!

And by the way, "Organizing Made Simple" is a new series of posts I'm starting; all having to do with organizing solutions.
Although organizing can sometimes be a bit overwhelming (depending on the level of mess), through this series I will show you how to simplify the process one room (and post) at a time:)

Thanks for reading and have a super fab day!
